Writing a blog? It might do more harm than good

Realtors who market their services through a personal blog may see great results – but writing for an online audience can be tricky. Without a digital marketing expert on their team, Realtors could do more damage to their online reputation than good.

Realtors should turn to a company with proven experience in the real estate arena – one that has the skills and experience necessary to build their online reputation.

Realtors also need to hone their writing skills in order to achieve success. Beyond blogs, they must be able to draft official documents and legal contracts, and need to craft property descriptions that motivate prospective buyers.

With digital marketing, it’s important to use effective language that projects authority. The words must make the writer appear both open and honest, and the content should compel prospects to use that agent’s real estate services rather than a rival’s.

A blog must also be read, and Realtors should partner with a provider that also has a strong grasp of social media marketing.
