Orlando has landed in the second-place spot atop FORBES’ list of best cities for future job growth, with an anticipated 3.2 percent expansion compared to a 1.2 percent expansion for the typical U.S. metro in the coming year. Myrtle Beach, S.C., claimed the number-one position.
Two other Florida cities, North Port and Jacksonville, made it into the top 10.
FORBES cited the $60 billion tourism industry as the primary driver of Orlando’s economy, along with booming tech and healthcare/life sciences industries.
