Winter Park Health Foundation officially kicked off its partnership with Florida Hospital with the announcement of a brand new 80,000 square-foot mega wellness center.
The Center for Health and Wellbeing will have a trio of services focused on fitness, medical care, and holistic services, all in one. It will also have seven gardens and healthy cafes. The hospital said it wanted to create a one-of-a-kind healing space that caters to all ages.
“This will be a great environment for families to come, to exercise together, to learn to eat healthy together, to really have this journey of health together to feeling the best that they can feel,” Jennifer Wandersleben, senior vice president of Winter Park Memorial Hospital, said.
A new street was also named in honor of the Crosby family, called Crosby Way. The center will open up in 2018.
