States where buying is cheaper than renting appear in blue
It’s cheaper to buy a home in Florida than to rent, according the a new study by GoBankingRates, as is it in much of the country due in part to low interest rates.

Monthly mortgage in Florida: $1,297
Rents have been rising in the Sunshine State — especially in South Florida where the population is growing and demand for rentals has increased.
