Florida Job Market Is Healthy

Florida Job Market Is Healthy

by DeVore Design, July 27, 2015

There is no end in sight for employment in Florida to remain healthy.  This is great news for real estate.

The Sunshine State is ripe with opportunity when it comes to the job market, according to Kiplinger magazine.

Florida was ranked one of the top 10 states expected to see the fastest employment gains in 2015.

The state’s job market this year is forecasted to grow 3.2 percent and next year the state is expected to see job growth of 3.4 percent, according to the report.

Meanwhile, Kiplinger projects Florida to add 253,600 new jobs in 2015 and 274,600 new jobs in 2016.

“Construction, tourism, health care, transportation and technology will buoy the economy. One damper: the weak economy of Latin America, which has many ties to Florida.”

In addition, Kiplinger adds that Florida, along with California, also will be among the top 10 states with the biggest job gains.
