Mobile-Friendly Real Estate Marketing Absolutely Required

by DeVore Design, July 23, 2015

DeVore Design includes a dedicated single property website with each real estate photography package, and we meeting the demands of the marketplace with fully responsive and mobile friendly designs.  Our approach to Orlando real estate photography is simple; provide the best quality photos packaged with a website that presents the photos just as well.

Consumers now spend more than half their online time viewing content on a mobile device rather than a PC, according to data from MarketingLand.com.

“Mobile Internet usage is growing faster than Internet usage in general, up 23 percent compared with just 8 percent,” reports MarketingLand. “In addition, the mobile ad industry as a whole grew 34 percent year over year, while desktop digital advertising grew 11 percent.”

Time spent with digital media has increased to 5 hours and 38 minutes a day, with 2 hours and 51 minutes of that time spent on mobile, according to eMarketer.

The findings should impact real estate agents’ marketing decisions as they consider how to present ads and listings because the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) has reported similar numbers: 50 percent of homebuyers used a mobile website or application during the home buying process last year.

While mobile advertising continues to grow, consumers say that advertisements disrupt their mobile experience.

Contextual relevancy for ads is key, according to a Forrester/Tapad report. Twenty-three percent of consumers surveyed said they want ads to be tailored to the content they’re viewing, while 21 percent expect ads to be tailored to their location.
